How PPR Joints Are Made

  1. Cut the pipe square with a PPR cutter and mark the socket depth.
  2. Heat the pipe end and the fitting together on the fusion machine's dies (around 260 °C) for the time given for that size.
  3. Push them together straight, without twisting, and hold still for a few seconds while the joint sets.

Common mistakes: overheating (the pipe narrows inside), twisting after joining, and dirty or wet pipe ends. Pressure-test the system before you close the walls.
