What Do 16G and 18G Mean?
G is the gauge (wall thickness). As with mabati, a higher number is thinner. Roughly, 18G is about 1.0 to 1.2 mm, 16G about 1.5 mm and 14G about 2 mm. Sizes like 2X2 are in inches (2 × 2 inches is about 50 × 50 mm). Where the product name gives millimetres, use those.
