Plus an adjustable spanner, a screwdriver and a cloth.
These use ceramic cartridges instead of washers. A drip usually means a worn cartridge; take the old one to match the size. Clean any grit out of the seat before fitting the new part.
Replace it when the body is cracked, the threads are stripped, or the seat is badly worn. A new tap often costs less than repeated repairs.
