Pre-order Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when you pre-order a product on Buy More Mall Kenya, that is, when you order an item before it is in stock or released. They add to our general Terms & Conditions and Return & Refund Policy.

What a pre-order is

Pre-order items are clearly marked on the product page, with an estimated shipping or availability date. Your order reserves the item for you from the Seller's next stock.

Payment and deposits

• The product page shows whether you pay the full price when ordering, or a deposit now and the balance before dispatch.
• If a balance is due, we will notify you when the item is ready. You must pay within 7 days of the notice, or the order may be cancelled and your deposit refunded, less any non-refundable amount stated on the product page for custom-made items.
• Payments are made by M-Pesa or card through the website.

Estimated dates and delays

• Dates shown are estimates provided by the Seller, often depending on manufacturers, importers or shipping.
• If the date changes, we will tell you the new estimate by SMS, email or WhatsApp.
• If the item is not available within 30 days after the original estimated date, you may cancel for a full refund of everything you paid.

Cancelling a pre-order

• You may cancel before the item is dispatched and receive a full refund of any amount paid, unless the product page clearly states that the item is custom-made and that the deposit is non-refundable.
• If the Seller cannot supply the item, the order will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
• Refunds are paid to the original payment method within 7 working days.

Price changes

The price confirmed when you placed your pre-order is the price you pay, even if the product's price later changes. If the Seller cannot honour the price, you may cancel for a full refund.

Delivery, returns and warranty

Once dispatched, pre-ordered items are delivered, returned and covered by warranty in the same way as other products, under our Terms & Conditions and Return & Refund Policy.
